The Kearns — Short Film (MEISHU)
"The Kearns" is a psychological thriller which follows the tumultuous journey of an influencer family striving for fame. Exploring ethical dilemmas surrounding the exploitation and safeguarding of children, the relentless pursuit of social media metrics, and the suffocating pressure to maintain the illusion of perfection, the film delves headfirst into the complexities of modern-day fame and the insatiable hunger it can induce. "The Kearns" uncovers the dark underbelly of social media culture, and how it has the potential to tear families apart.
Following the success of "Nosebleeds," MEISHU returns with their second film, guided always by the company’s motto: "Make Art, Tell Stories." With a keen eye for relatable and timely narratives, MEISHU is committed to shedding light on the complexities of modern life.

Scab by Sheila Callaghan
Anima's (Clare Harbin) sphere of desperation and self-destruction is invaded by the arrival of her perky new roommate, Christa (Emma Kitchin). Moved by a particularly malevolent statue of the Virgin Mary and a houseplant named Susan, Anima and Christa soon enter into a profound and intimate friendship that incurs traumatic results.

Winner of the Rawley P. Turner Drama Award: “As Anima, in Scab, the detail, vulnerability, and intensity of Clare's acting work were uniquely powerful and professional. We are pleased to honor her brave, emotionally raw performance with this award."
