About Clare!

Hey there! Welcome here. This is the catch-all about me page where you can see some of my current projects, how I came to be where I am today, and what I’m looking to for the future!

  • I most recently graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College as a Theatre and Religious Studies double major.

After non-profit work in the summer and tourism maritime work through the fall and winter, I’m now based in London for the next six months!

Here I’ll be networking and volunteering with various organizations to build my community for a longer term move.

  • In my perfect 10 year plan, I am a working actor based in London, will have attended graduate school in the UK, and will be a founder of a cross continental theatre company focused on equity, representation, and accessibility in theatre!

  • I have always had quite the dramatic flair and a passion for justice (more on this found on my “Activism” page), but I didn’t discover theatre until I attended a musical camp at a local church in Charlotte when I was eight years old.

This set off a burning passion! When my family moved to Virginia two years later, I was ecstatic to learn my Montessori school put on a musical every year that I could be a part of. Opportunities continued into high school where I had the gift of a robust theatre program. When I got to Davidson—though I wasn’t planning on majoring in theatre— I took Acting I and got cast in Macbeth…the decision to major in theatre was quick to follow!

In the Spring of my junior year, I spent a term in London at an acting conservatory, which made me to realize I can’t spend my life doing anything else!

My senior year, I landed my first, true lead role in a play and fell even more in love with the craft. Upon graduation, I was lost as to what to do and where to go— my passion had no funnel to place my energy. After a lovely chat with a professor, I decided to say YES to 6 months in London to see what could come out of it. So here I am!

I enjoyed my time back with Rover Cruises for the rest of their 2023 season! I first worked on the American Rover in 2017— it was great to be back.

An avid hiker, I was pumped to be able to return to Talisman to spearhead their adventure program. This photo was taken during my study abroad term in Thailand!
